Currently, a similar situation is unfolding regarding the highly anticipated film ‘Peddi’ starring megastar Ram Charan.
Recently, various claims about the film’s final runtime emerged on social media, prompting the makers to step forward and clarify the situation.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, this much-awaited rural action drama features Ram Charan in the lead role. The film’s team has explicitly urged fans not to believe any rumors. They clarified that the film’s complete work is not yet finished, and any claims regarding the runtime are inaccurate.
The team revealed that only the initial portion of the film has been finalized. The background score for this segment is nearly complete, composed by Oscar-winning musician A.R. Rahman. Meanwhile, the second half of the film is in the final stages of shooting, and editing is progressing rapidly.
The team assured that everything is proceeding according to plan, with the film set to release on April 30, 2026.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the lead actress. Additionally, Shiv Rajkumar, Jagapati Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani will play significant roles. The editing is being handled by National Award-winning editor Naveen Nooli.
