Ram Charan Trains for Months in Wrestling for Upcoming Film Peddi

Hyderabad, June 3: The highly anticipated rural sports drama film ‘Peddi’ has revealed that lead actor Ram Charan underwent three to four months of intensive wrestling training. This training was conducted under the guidance of the same coach who trained Aamir Khan for the film ‘Dangal.’

During a media interaction, director Buchi Babu Sana discussed the precautions taken for this sports-based film. He stated, “While we are all familiar with cricket, we paid special attention to wrestling. We brought in the trainer who worked with Aamir Khan on ‘Dangal.’ We also included wrestlers from Telangana in our team and provided special training to all the cast members. Ram Charan dedicated about three to four months to wrestling training for this film.”

Recently released trailers suggest that Ram Charan’s character will showcase skills in three sports, including cricket and wrestling. The film is set to be released globally on June 4, generating significant excitement among audiences since its announcement.

Filming for ‘Peddi’ was completed by May 1 of this year. Notable cinematographer Ratnavelu was the first to announce the completion of the shoot.
