Rajasthans Chief Minister Works Like a Party Activist, Claims BJPs Rohan Gupta

Jaipur, September 7 (Daily Kiran) : Rohan Gupta, the National Secretary of the BJP, criticized the Congress party while emphasizing the grassroots approach of the BJP in Rajasthan. He stated that from the Chief Minister to ordinary party workers, everyone is expected to engage directly with the public. Gupta pointed out that in the BJP, the Chief Minister does not receive royal treatment but instead acts as a dedicated party worker.

In a conversation with a news agency, Gupta remarked, “The difference between Congress and BJP is clear. Our Chief Ministers are also party workers. They are not treated like kings.” He stressed the importance of both the Chief Minister and party workers interacting with the public during elections and addressing their concerns.

Gupta attributed Congress’s decline in power to its disconnect from the electorate. He questioned whether it is unacceptable for a Chief Minister to meet the public, suggesting that Congress has already conceded defeat before the elections. He noted that Congress offices are not operational, and there is a lack of effective campaigning from their side.

Regarding the demolition of a mosque in Saharanpur, Gupta stated that political issues should not arise from actions taken against illegal constructions. He accused certain individuals of attempting to politicize the matter, which he believes is detrimental to the country.

Gupta also criticized the opposition for engaging in divisive politics based on religion, urging the public to avoid such tactics as they bring no benefit. He encouraged citizens to approach these issues with discernment.

During his visits to various districts in Rajasthan, Gupta reported that the general populace appears satisfied with the government’s performance. He noted that there is strong public trust in the government, with citizens feeling assured that their problems are being addressed.

He asserted that the BJP’s “double engine” government in Rajasthan is effectively tackling public issues, with attention from both the Chief Minister and the administration. Gupta expressed confidence that the government’s efforts will yield even better results in the future, contrasting this with the previous administration’s neglect of public grievances, which led voters to choose the BJP.
