Anant Singh Claims Victory for Anuj Singh in Patna Graduates Constituency Ahead of Official Results
Ahead of the official results, Anant Singh asserts Anuj Singhs victory in Patnas Graduates Constituency, despite ongoing vote counting.

Patna, October 27 (Daily Kiran) : In Patna, on October 27, Anant Singh, the MLA from Mokama, reiterated his belief in the victory of Anuj Singh, the candidate supported by Jan Suraj, as the counting of votes continues in the Bihar Legislative Council’s Patna Graduates’ constituency. Singh dismissed external opinions, stating, “What the world says doesn’t matter. What I say is the truth.”
Reports have emerged of sweets being distributed at Anant Singh’s residence even before the official election results were announced. Speaking to the media, he maintained his previous assertions, insisting that Anuj Singh would emerge victorious. The contest is primarily between Janata Dal (United) candidate Neeraj Kumar and Anuj Singh, with early trends indicating Neeraj Kumar leading.
Despite the ongoing counting, Anant Singh remained steadfast in his prediction of victory. During the campaign for the eight Bihar Legislative Council seats, he openly supported Anuj Singh against his own party’s candidate, Neeraj Kumar, actively campaigning for Singh.
As a result of his actions, the JD(U) expelled Anant Singh from the party for six years. When questioned about the party’s decision and a notice to vacate his government residence, he expressed no concerns. “I have no issues. A letter has been issued for vacating, and I will do so,” he stated. He added that he has been given a month to vacate the premises, emphasizing, “The people are the masters, they are like God.”
When asked about the possibility of forming a new party, Anant Singh refrained from making any definitive announcements. As the counting progresses in the Patna Graduates’ constituency, all eyes remain on his claims and the unfolding electoral battle.
