Punjab Law and Order in Crisis, Government Failing to Provide Relief: Tarun Chugh
BJP MP Tarun Chugh criticizes Punjabs government for failing to maintain law and order, calling it a haven for criminals.

Rajkot, October 27 (Daily Kiran) : BJP MP Tarun Chugh launched a strong critique of the Punjab government on Tuesday, stating that law and order in the state has completely collapsed. He accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of failing to bring relief to the public.
Speaking to the media in Rajkot, Chugh remarked, “The law and order situation in Punjab is dire. The Aam Aadmi Party has become a safe haven for criminals and those spreading chaos. Some refer to it as the ‘disaster party,’ while others call it the ‘criminal anarchy party.’ Under Bhagwant Mann’s administration, there are nearly two to three murders every day. There have been grenade attacks on 23 police stations, and police officers are being killed while in uniform, with videos of these incidents shared on social media. Punjab is currently in a very unfortunate state.”
Chugh further claimed that there have been attacks on police headquarters, prompting police to advise citizens against wearing uniforms while returning home. He sarcastically noted that those responsible for public safety are unable to secure themselves. He accused the government of colluding with criminal elements, stating that Punjab is being looted, and the situation has deteriorated significantly. The Aam Aadmi Party has failed to provide any relief to the people.
Addressing the India Block rally and Rahul Gandhi’s statements, Chugh accused Gandhi of tarnishing India’s democracy, judiciary, and other institutions to please foreign interests. He criticized Gandhi for spreading misinformation about the Election Commission, claiming that he frequently changes his narrative regarding electronic voting machines and alleged vote theft.
Chugh asserted that the Congress party and the Gandhi-Nehrus have accrued significant sins, which continue to multiply. He stated that the public has consistently responded to these transgressions through their votes and will continue to do so in the future.
In response to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s remarks against Prime Minister Modi, Chugh suggested that Kharge has lost his mental balance. He observed that the faces of Congress leadership reveal their ongoing defeats, despair, and frustration. He emphasized that making derogatory remarks against Modi is unacceptable, illustrating the desperation within Congress leadership.
