Retired Colonel Demands Action Against Bihar Congress Spokesperson Over Fake AI Video
Retired Colonel Ajay Raina calls for the arrest of a Bihar Congress spokesperson for posting a fake AI video, labeling it as treason.

Jammu, October 27 (Daily Kiran) : Retired Colonel Ajay Raina has raised serious concerns regarding a viral fake AI video related to China and Arunachal Pradesh, labeling it as an act of treason against the nation. He questioned why no action has been taken against the Bihar Congress spokesperson who shared the deepfake video. Raina also expressed frustration over the silence from the Additional Director General of Police Intelligence (ADGPI) on the matter.
Commenting on the statements made by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in support of Kashmir, Raina remarked that while such support continues, regions like Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are on the verge of separation.
Raina highlighted the ongoing unrest in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK), noting that there have been daily shootings with light machine guns and protests lasting four months. He emphasized that the narrative around Kashmir has shifted since 2019, marking October 22 as a significant day of violence and chaos when tribal militants entered Kashmir. Conversely, the arrival of the Indian Army on October 27 is viewed positively by many.
In response to former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah’s comments, Raina observed that Abdullah appears disheartened. He recounted his own 11 years in Kashmir, witnessing numerous projects that were only on paper, which ceased once funding was cut off.
Raina stated that while the public may perceive a connection between local sentiments and reactions from Pakistan, without direct evidence, such assumptions remain speculative. He noted the ease with which deepfake technology can create misleading content, making it difficult for the average citizen to discern authenticity.
He criticized the Indian government for not acting against the Bihar Congress spokesperson, arguing that the lack of swift action emboldens such behavior. Raina stressed that creating and disseminating fake videos intentionally should be met with legal consequences to deter future incidents.
Regarding Pakistan’s internal challenges, he asserted that despite political statements of support for Kashmir, the reality on the ground reveals significant issues within Pakistan itself. Raina concluded that while political rhetoric will persist, the stability and well-being of the region’s populace remain paramount.
