Rajasthan Light Rain Recorded in 15 Cities, Two Inches in Jhalawar

Jaipur, 20 August (Kiran News). The spell of light rainfall continues across the state. On Wednesday, light to moderate rain was recorded in 15 cities, including Jaipur. The rainfall is expected to continue in the coming days, while heavy showers may begin in the last week of this month.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain was observed on Wednesday in Bhilwara, Tonk, Jaipur, Kota, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Sri Ganganagar, Jalore, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Rajsamand, and Sirohi. On Tuesday, the highest rainfall in the state was recorded in Lohariya (Banswara) at 100 millimetres. Barmer reported the highest maximum temperature at 40.1°C, while Bikaner saw the lowest minimum temperature at 29.4°C.

In Jaipur, Wednesday saw partly to moderately cloudy skies throughout the day, with intermittent glimpses of the sun. Some areas of Jaipur experienced scattered rain in the afternoon, leading to a slight drop in temperature. Jaipur recorded a maximum temperature of 34.4°C and a minimum of 26.5°C.
