Jaipur, April 1: The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the results for the 12th grade in Science, Commerce, and Arts streams on Tuesday. Education Minister Madan Dilawar revealed the results during a press conference. This year, girls outperformed boys in the Science and Arts streams, while boys had a higher percentage in Commerce.
Among the top performers is Anu Yadav from Neemkathana in the Sikar district. She achieved an impressive 98.33% in the Science (Biology) stream, bringing pride to her family and community.
In an interview with a news agency, Anu stated, “This achievement was possible due to studying 8 to 10 hours daily. I credit my success to hard work, consistent study, and the guidance of my teachers and grandparents.” She added, “During the exams, I completely avoided using my mobile phone to maintain focus on my studies.” Anu aims to prepare for civil services in the future.
Meanwhile, Minister Madan Dilawar, during the press conference, mentioned the tragic story of Nikita, a student from Government Senior Secondary School, 7 KN (Shri Ganganagar), who scored 93.80% in the Arts stream. Sadly, she passed away just 11 days before the results were announced on March 20. Initially suffering from a fever, she later developed jaundice and died while receiving treatment in a hospital in Bikaner.
Nikita’s father, Mangalsingh, a daily wage laborer, expressed pride in his daughter’s achievements, stating, “We are very happy with her results. She worked very hard and scored excellent marks.”
It is noteworthy that the overall pass percentage for the Rajasthan 12th results this year was slightly lower compared to last year. In 2026, the pass percentage was 97.54% in Arts, 98.50% in Commerce, and 97.52% in Science. In comparison, the 2025 results showed 97.78% in Arts, 99.07% in Commerce, and 98.43% in Science.
