Punjabs Situation Deteriorating: Fateh Jung Bajwa Calls for Urgent Action

Chandigarh, April 1: BJP leader Fateh Jung Bajwa has expressed grave concerns over the deteriorating situation in Punjab following an explosion outside the BJP office. He stated that forces aiming to destabilize the nation are challenging the integrity of the state.

Bajwa highlighted the alarming rise in violence, noting that shootings and murders are becoming commonplace. He mentioned that grenades were used after incidents at two police stations, emphasizing that such occurrences are reported daily in Punjab. He urged the central government to impose President’s Rule in the state, given the current atmosphere of unrest.

He remarked that such violence was previously unheard of in Chandigarh. Recently, a real estate agent was murdered in Sector 9, illustrating the increasing frequency of violent incidents. Bajwa stressed that the central government must take decisive action before the situation worsens further.

Regarding H.S. Phoolka joining the BJP, Bajwa welcomed him, stating that Phoolka has turned away from the Aam Aadmi Party after significant efforts to bring it to Punjab. He believes that Phoolka’s presence in the BJP will have a positive impact, as good individuals are increasingly joining the party.

Bajwa asserted that the BJP is gaining strength, while the Congress, Akali Dal, and Aam Aadmi Party are weakening in Punjab. He confidently predicted that the people of Punjab will elect a BJP government in 2027.
