New Delhi, April 2: The 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) has seen all 10 teams play their opening matches. Some teams have shown strong performances, while others need significant improvement. Let’s take a look at which teams secured a spot in the top four after the match between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on Wednesday.

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) currently hold the top position in the points table. RR won their first match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 8 wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) sits in second place. RCB triumphed over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 6 wickets in their opening game.

Delhi Capitals, who defeated LSG on Wednesday, are in third place with a victory margin of 6 wickets.

Mumbai Indians are in fourth place after winning against Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets.

Gujarat Titans (GT) are in sixth place, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in seventh, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in eighth, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in ninth, and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the bottom in tenth place.

All five of these teams lost their opening matches, and their rankings are also based on net run rate.
