Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Distributes Over 900 Appointment Letters in Mohali

Mohali: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday handed over appointment letters to 916 young candidates from various departments in Mohali. He urged all newly appointed employees to serve Punjab and its people with full honesty and dedication.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the state government has so far provided government jobs to 63,943 youths without any bribery or recommendation. He assured that the initiative under ‘Mission Rozgar’ will continue uninterrupted.

He explained that candidates now only need to clear the examination, after which the government itself sends the results and appointment letters, making the recruitment process completely transparent.

Reflecting on the 2022 government change, CM Mann said that the public became partners in governance by casting their votes, which has since spread the light of education, employment, and development across Punjab. In contrast, previous governments had only brought darkness to the state.

The Chief Minister noted that opposition parties have often focused on pointing out flaws instead of appreciating the government’s public welfare efforts. However, his administration remains focused on work, with growing public support to put Punjab back on the right path. He emphasized that the government does not worry about critics.

CM Mann further stated that to realize the dreams of freedom envisioned by martyrs, continuous struggle is necessary. The government is committed to turning these dreams into reality through ongoing efforts.

On social media platform X, the Chief Minister reiterated that appointment letters were distributed to 916 young men and women in Mohali. He extended his best wishes for their sincere service to Punjab and Punjabis. He reaffirmed that over 63,943 youths have received government jobs without corruption or recommendations, and this process will continue under ‘Mission Rozgar’.

Earlier, CM Mann mentioned that a portal named after Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar has been established to ensure accountability and prevent scams. Strict action will be taken against any college attempting to fraudulently claim scholarships through fake admissions.

Under the ‘Chief Minister Sehat Yojana’, every family in the state will receive free treatment coverage up to Rs 10 lakh. This scheme will be available in both government and private hospitals, ensuring no family in Punjab is deprived of medical care.
