New Delhi, June 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit proverb on the social media platform ‘X’ on Tuesday.
In his post, PM Modi stated, “Only through actions rooted in patience, wisdom, and foresight can the doors to happiness and prosperity be opened. Therefore, it is essential to approach every decision with complete understanding, as a well-considered step forms the foundation of success.”
He shared the Sanskrit verse: “सहसा विदधीत न क्रियामविवेकः परमापदां पदम्. वृणते हि विमृश्यकारिणं गुणलुब्धाः स्वयमेव सम्पदः॥”
The Hindi translation of this verse emphasizes that actions should not be taken impulsively, as thoughtless actions can lead to significant troubles. In contrast, those who act with careful consideration attract success and prosperity naturally.
Earlier, on June 15, PM Modi shared another proverb, stating that every clod of earth has a unique thought, every water body contains fresh water, and each birth brings new discoveries, with every mouth speaking a new dialect.
He highlighted in a video that in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, each individual’s thoughts and creative visions are distinct. This diversity gives rise to new possibilities. Just as the taste of water varies from different sources, every talent possesses its unique identity and capability. The coordination of these varied thoughts and abilities makes innovation and progress possible.
Previously, on June 12, PM Modi shared a proverb emphasizing that the strength of Indian women is the cornerstone of nation-building. He noted that our mothers, sisters, and daughters are enhancing the pride of Mother India with their remarkable talents and skills.
He shared the Sanskrit verse: “नारी त्रैलोक्यजननी नारी त्रैलोक्यरूपिणी. नारी त्रिभुवनाधारा, नारी शक्तिस्वरूपिणी॥” which translates to the idea that women are the progenitors of all three worlds. They embody the essence of the universe and represent the true form of power.
