Chandigarh, July 15: Preparations are in full swing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Chandigarh. Jitendra Malhotra, the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Chandigarh, stated that the entire city is ready to welcome the Prime Minister. There is a palpable excitement among the residents, and BJP workers are showing remarkable enthusiasm.

Malhotra revealed in an interview that Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate two major health projects during his visit. These include a dedicated neurosciences hospital and a mother and child care hospital.

To prepare for the Prime Minister’s arrival, the party has launched a ‘Cleanliness Welcome’ campaign. The goal is to make Chandigarh even cleaner and more beautiful over the next three days. He emphasized that while Chandigarh is already known as one of the cleanest cities, efforts are being made to enhance its appeal for the Prime Minister’s visit.

The BJP president also mentioned that a large event will be organized during the Prime Minister’s visit, with an expected attendance of around 7,000 to 8,000 people. This event will take place at the Punjab Engineering College (PEC). Although the exact timing is yet to be finalized, it is likely to occur between 12 PM and 2 PM.
