
Poco has introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Poco M8 5G, in India. The device highlights a slim design, a bright AMOLED screen, and a high-resolution camera, aiming to deliver a balanced mix of performance and longevity for users.
The Poco M8 5G sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution of 2392 x 1080 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers peak brightness up to 3,200 nits, ensuring clear visibility even under direct sunlight.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand storage further using a microSD card slot that supports up to 1TB.
Running on Android 15 with HyperOS 2, the Poco M8 5G promises extended software support. Poco has committed to delivering four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, enhancing the phoneβs long-term usability.

In terms of pricing, the Poco M8 5G starts at Rs 21,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 22,999, while the 8GB+256GB version costs Rs 24,999. It will be available in Glacier Blue, Black, and Frost Silver colours.
Sales begin on January 13 through Flipkart and offline retail stores. Launch offers include an instant Rs 2,000 discount on ICICI Bank credit and debit card transactions. Buyers can also take advantage of exchange offers worth up to Rs 20,000 and no-cost EMI options for up to six months.
