New Delhi, March 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the nation on the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, dedicated to the spiritual symbol, Goddess Kushmanda. He emphasized that the worship of the goddess fills devotees with positive energy.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, PM Modi expressed, “I bow to Goddess Kushmanda, the symbol of indomitable courage and spiritual power. May her divine energy awaken new consciousness in every heart.”
He also shared a Sanskrit verse, stating, “Surasaṃpuṇakalashaṃ rudhirāplutameva ca. Dadhānā hastapadmābhyāṃ Kūṣmāṇḍā śubhadā’stu me.”
The verse translates to a prayer for blessings, asking the mother who holds a pot filled with blood and nectar in her sacred hands to grant welfare.
In another post, PM Modi shared a devotional song, highlighting the immense power of devotion to the mother. He noted that the worship of the goddess fills devotees with positive energy.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju conveyed his heartfelt wishes, stating, “Wishing everyone a happy fourth day of Chaitra Navratri. May Goddess Kushmanda bless our lives with happiness, peace, prosperity, and positive energy.”
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote, “On this auspicious fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, I bow to the fourth form of Mother Ambey, Goddess Kushmanda. I pray that you bring welfare and happiness to all, freeing us from illness, sorrow, and fear, and granting us fame, strength, and longevity. O Mother, bless your children with a joyful and blissful life.”
Meanwhile, BJP National President Nitin Naveen also wished everyone on the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, stating, “May Goddess Kushmanda bless everyone’s life with energy, happiness, and prosperity. Jai Mata Di.”
