PM Modi Urges Collective Efforts for a Healthy Society on World Health Day

New Delhi, April 7: On the occasion of World Health Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the dedication of healthcare workers and extended wishes for good health to all citizens. He urged everyone to make every possible effort to maintain their health.

In a post on his social media account, PM Modi stated, “On World Health Day, we express our gratitude to all those who are tirelessly dedicated to serving others and working towards a healthier planet. We reaffirm our commitment to building a healthy society. Let us all continue to work together to strengthen health systems and prioritize the well-being of every individual.”

He further added, “On World Health Day, I wish all citizens good health. I urge everyone to make every possible effort to stay healthy.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also shared his wishes for World Health Day on social media, stating, “Good health is a choice we can maintain with proper care. On this occasion, let us dedicate ourselves to building a healthy and strong society through appropriate care, healthy eating habits, and regular exercise.”

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda (JP Nadda) extended his greetings for World Health Day, emphasizing, “This day reminds us to take better care of our health and adopt a balanced lifestyle. India’s approach to healthcare is a unique blend of ancient wisdom and modern science, which helps improve lives not only within the country but across the globe.”

He noted, “Under Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership, transformative initiatives like ‘Ayushman Bharat’ and the ‘PM Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana’ have strengthened our healthcare system, making quality treatment more accessible, affordable, and inclusive for every citizen.”

Nadda also expressed heartfelt gratitude to all doctors, nurses, and frontline workers whose dedication has fortified the healthcare system. “Let us all work together towards building a healthy and empowered nation,” he said.

On this occasion, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, also conveyed warm wishes for World Health Day, expressing, “I extend my deep gratitude to our doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and frontline personnel who have tirelessly worked with compassion and dedication to keep the nation healthy. May everyone be blessed with good health.”
