New Delhi, June 14: On the occasion of completing 12 years in office, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the significant changes and achievements in the healthcare sector. He stated that over the past decade, India has made extensive efforts to make quality healthcare more affordable and accessible.
In a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote, “In the last 12 years, India has worked to provide high-quality healthcare at lower costs and greater accessibility. We take pride in being recognized as the home of the world’s largest healthcare program, ‘Ayushman Bharat,’ which delivers excellent healthcare to those in need.”
He further noted, “Initiatives like the PM Jan Aushadhi Yojana have made medicines more affordable. The prices of stents and knee implants have decreased, benefiting many. Additionally, the availability of more institutions and seats has made medical education more accessible. We will continue to advance this progress towards building a healthier India.”
Earlier, PM Modi stated in a post on Saturday, “The NDA government is firmly working towards youth-led development. A key highlight of the past 12 years is that India’s youth have confidently taken steps to fulfill their aspirations. Initiatives like ‘Startup India,’ ‘Digital India,’ ‘Skill India,’ and ‘Atal Innovation Mission’ have created an environment that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and enterprise.”
In his post, PM Modi added, “Today, India is one of the leading startup destinations in the world, with many success stories being written by our young talent from small towns and villages.”
