Parineeti Chopra Transitions from Manager to Co-Star with Anushka Sharma in Just Three Months

Mumbai, October 21 (Daily Kiran) : Parineeti Chopra’s recent journey from managing Anushka Sharma’s interviews to co-starring with her has captivated many in the entertainment industry. Typically, the relationship between stars and their managers revolves solely around work and scheduling. However, when a manager steps into a film alongside the star, it resembles a twist of fate.

Parineeti, who initially had no aspirations of becoming an actress, pursued a triple honors degree in Business, Finance, and Economics from Manchester Business School. Her dream was to become a successful investment banker in the UK. However, circumstances led her back to India.

Born on October 22, Parineeti moved to England at the age of 17. She envisioned herself as an investment advisor, but the economic downturn forced her to return to India. Upon her return, she joined Yash Raj Films’ public relations and marketing department through her sister, Priyanka Chopra. During the promotion of the film “Band Baaja Baaraat,” she managed interviews for artists like Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh.

It was during this time that Parineeti discovered her passion for acting. On a whim, she auditioned for a role by performing dialogues from “Jab We Met.” The tape caught the attention of producer Aditya Chopra, who was so impressed that he offered her roles in films like “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl” (2011), “Ishaqzaade” (2012), and “Shuddh Desi Romance” (2013).

Just three months after taking on her PR role, Parineeti made her acting debut in “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl,” sharing the screen with Sharma and Singh. Although these films didn’t achieve blockbuster status, her acting received significant praise. On social media, she recently opened up about her bond with Anushka. When asked about her female crush, Parineeti revealed their special connection, noting that she had managed Anushka’s interviews during her PR stint.

“I handled Anushka’s interviews for ‘Band Baaja Baaraat.’ Then, within three months, we became co-stars in ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.’ Isn’t that cool?” Parineeti shared.
