Mumbai, September 4 (Kiran News): Romantic comedy Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, has seen a steep drop in collections within its first week of release. The film, which hit theatres on August 29, received mixed reviews from critics and, after a decent opening weekend, has struggled to maintain momentum.

According to Sacnilk reports, Param Sundari earned just ₹2.85 crore on its sixth day, marking its lowest daily figure so far. With this, the film’s total box office collection has reached ₹37.10 crore.
The day-wise breakdown shows the decline: the film opened at ₹7.25 crore on Day 1, rose to ₹9.25 crore on Day 2, and peaked at ₹10.25 crore on Day 3. Collections then slipped to ₹3.25 crore on Day 4 and ₹4.25 crore on Day 5.
Made on a budget of ₹45 crore, Param Sundari marks the first on-screen pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, whose chemistry has been well received by audiences. The film also features Renji Panicker, Sidharth Shankar, Manjot Singh, Sanjay Kapoor and Inayat Verma in supporting roles.
Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film was promoted as a light-hearted entertainer but now faces an uphill battle to recover its costs at the box office.
