Pappu Yadav Claims Conspiracy Behind Bharat Tiwari Encounter

Patna, June 24: The political landscape in Bihar has intensified following the controversial encounter of Bharat Tiwari in Bhojpur. In response to the FIR filed regarding the encounter, MP Pappu Yadav shared his insights on the unfolding events, also addressing various other political and social issues.

Yadav stated that the FIR against the police personnel involved in the Bharat Tiwari encounter indicates a deeper conspiracy aimed at protecting influential figures. “Big fish are repeatedly saved through various plots. Bharat Tiwari was a simple social worker who fought for the homeless poor in Jamuniya village, which I had saved. The arrogant individuals sitting in headquarters consider themselves above the law, constitution, and democracy. These ‘big fish’ exploit the system to earn millions and control the administration. Do you think this murder occurred without the headquarters’ complicity?” he questioned.

He further demanded an investigation into who contacted the DSP from headquarters, how the case reached senior officials, and what interactions occurred. “The DSP had refused, stating that if a mad elephant can be shot, why not a mad human? Bharat was killed by sending an STF team. The DSP and station in-charge did not commit the murder themselves; Bharat was shot in sensitive areas,” Yadav explained.

Yadav also highlighted the lack of action on pressing issues, mentioning, “Two members of the Paswan community were killed over trivial matters, yet no one is going there to help, not even leaders like Jitan Ram Manjhi and Chirag Paswan. A daughter from an extremely backward community was gang-raped twice, but no one has spoken about it. In Nausa Nagar, nearly 100 women were killed based on caste identity. Students and teachers were jailed due to protests at a degree college, yet no one has raised their voice. The encounter of Bharat Tiwari was wrong. The issue is not just about the encounter; it questions the entire system. Bharat Tiwari’s sacrifice could save the future of many children and establish the rule of law.”
