Mehsana, August 31: A remarkable display of devotion and dedication has emerged from the renowned pilgrimage site of Tarabh in Gujarat’s Mehsana district. A family from Mokhana village in the Anjar tehsil of Kutch has dedicated their youngest son to the path of religion and service.
Vishabhai Karamshibhai Nagjibhai and his family arrived at Valinath Dham with drums and trumpets, presenting their beloved son, Shriyansh, to the divine. This act exemplifies their sacrifice and unwavering faith.
Following the religious ceremony of dedication, the head priest of Valinath Akhada, Pujya Mahant Shri Jayaramgiri Bapu, conducted a naming ritual in accordance with scriptures. The child has been named Shriyanshgiri. He will now grow up under the guidance of Bapu, receiving teachings in religion, culture, and service. This event has sparked immense curiosity and deep reverence among the local community and devotees.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayaramgiri Bapu mentioned that in the past five years, five boys have been dedicated to religious work from this seat, who will contribute to the promotion and service of Sanatan Dharma in the future.
The tradition of dedicating a son in the Valinath lineage has been practiced for years, aimed at propagating Sanatan Dharma and serving humanity. Over the last five years, five saints have been dedicated at Valinath Dham. After receiving education, these children are allowed to enter monastic life based on their wishes once they reach adulthood.
