New Delhi, August 11 (H.S.) – Despite facing a heavy setback in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan has once again resorted to issuing threats against India. Pakistan’s Army Chief and self-styled Field Marshal Asim Munir has threatened a nuclear strike against India during his ongoing visit to the United States.

Speaking at a dinner event at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tampa, Florida—attended by Pakistani businessman Adnan Asad and other guests—Munir declared that if Pakistan’s existence was threatened in a war with India, it would “take half the world down with it.”

He further claimed that the Indus River was not India’s ancestral property and asserted that Pakistan had no shortage of missiles. Munir accused India of violating the Indus Water Treaty, endangering 250 million people with hunger and thirst. He warned that Pakistan would wait for India to complete the construction of a dam and then destroy it with missiles.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already made it clear that India will not be intimidated by any nuclear threat. On multiple occasions, both in Parliament and from various platforms, Modi has reiterated that Operation Sindoor has not ended but only been paused. He has also stated that any terrorist act from Pakistan will be treated as an “act of war” and met with a strong response.
