Oppo Reno 15 5G Starry Pink Launched with Distinctive Starburst Design and Triple 50MP Cameras

Oppo has introduced a new Starry Pink variant of its Reno 15 5G smartphone in China, featuring a unique starburst grating finish on the back panel. This innovative design creates a sparkling effect when the phone is tilted, combining a textured metal frame with a glossy ice-clear glass surface.

The Starry Pink model is available in four configurations on platforms such as the Oppo Store, Tmall, Pinduoduo, and JD.com. Pricing starts at 2,999 yuan (approximately $429) for the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage version, and goes up to 3,599 yuan (around $515) for the 16GB RAM with 512GB storage option. Buyers will receive complimentary headphones or a gift box, while students can also claim an Oppo fast-charging power bank as a special offer.

Under the hood, the Reno 15 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset built on a 4nm process, delivering clock speeds up to 3.25GHz. It is paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU running at 1,300MHz. The device offers memory options of 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, combined with storage capacities of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB UFS 3.1. The phone runs on Android 16 with Oppo’s ColorOS 16 skin.

The handset sports a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2,640 x 1,216 pixels), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It can reach a local peak brightness of 3,600 nits and features 3,840Hz PWM dimming along with Oppo Crystal Shield Glass for enhanced protection.

Photography is a highlight with a triple rear camera setup, including a 200MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultra-wide lens offering a 112-degree field of view, and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens also equipped with OIS. All rear cameras support 4K video recording at 60fps. The front-facing camera is a 50MP sensor capable of 4K 60fps video as well.

The device carries robust protection standards with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. Powering the phone is a large 6,200mAh battery supported by 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Connectivity features include support for 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple satellite positioning systems.

This launch adds an attractive new colour and design option to the Oppo Reno 15 5G lineup, combining high-end specifications with a visually striking finish.
