Noida, March 14: A grand event is set to take place at the Dalit Prerna Sthal in Sector 95, Noida, on March 15, in celebration of Kashiram Jayanti. A significant turnout of supporters and the general public is anticipated. To manage the expected crowd and ensure smooth traffic flow, the Gautam Buddh Nagar traffic police have devised a comprehensive traffic diversion plan.
According to the traffic police’s guidelines, several key routes will be diverted to control traffic pressure around the event venue and its vicinity. This diversion will be implemented as needed in the morning. Drivers are urged to use the designated alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
As per the diversion plan, for vehicles coming from Greater Noida to Noida (Expressway): If there is increased traffic near the Dalit Prerna Sthal, vehicles will be redirected from the Mahamaya Bridge towards Sector 37. From there, traffic can proceed through Sector 37, Atta Peer Chowk, Rajnigandha Chowk, and the Sector 15 roundabout to reach their destinations.
For vehicles approaching from Greater Noida to Noida (near Gates 4/5): If traffic builds up near Gates 4 and 5 of the Dalit Prerna Sthal, vehicles will be diverted from the Film City Bridge towards Sector 18. Drivers can then access Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector 15 roundabout, or the Sector 18 underpass to continue to their destinations.
For vehicles traveling from Noida to Greater Noida (near DND/Film City): If congestion occurs on the route from Noida to Greater Noida near DND and Film City, vehicles will be redirected from the Sector 14A bridge towards the Sector 15 roundabout. Traffic can then proceed through Rajnigandha Chowk, Atta Peer Chowk, and Sector 37 to reach their destinations.
Extensive parking arrangements have also been made for vehicles attending the event. All passenger buses will park in the multi-level parking facility within Film City.
Light vehicles (from Western Noida/Sector 37): Light vehicles arriving from Pari Chowk, Sector 37, and Greater Noida West will park inside Gate 1 of the Dalit Prerna Sthal.
Light vehicles (from Delhi): Light vehicles coming from Delhi will park in the multi-level parking facility located within Film City.
Light vehicles (from Kalindi Kunj): An underground parking area has been established near the drain close to the Dalit Prerna Sthal for light vehicles arriving from Kalindi Kunj.
The traffic police have clarified that emergency vehicles, such as ambulances and fire brigades, will be allowed to pass smoothly during the diversion. Drivers are encouraged to adhere to traffic regulations and can contact the traffic helpline at 9971009001 for any issues or route-related inquiries. The traffic police aim to minimize public inconvenience and ensure the traffic system operates without disruption during the event.
