Oppo Find X9s Leaks on Geekbench with Dimensity 9500s Chipset

Mumbai, April 20: Oppo is set to launch its new X9 series of flagship smartphones on April 21. The Chinese market will see the introduction of the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro, while the global market is expected to welcome the Ultra edition alongside the Oppo Find X9s. Recent reports indicate that the Find X9 Ultra and X9s Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Dimensity 9500 chipsets, respectively.

In a recent development, the Find X9s has been spotted on Geekbench, confirming its chipset for the first time. Screenshots reveal that a device with the model number CPH2873 has appeared in Geekbench’s database. This device is anticipated to launch as the Oppo Find X9s. The listing indicates it is powered by a MediaTek chip, featuring 12GB of RAM and running on Android 16.

The chipset includes a prime CPU core clocked at 3.73GHz, three cores operating at 3.30GHz, and four cores running at 2.40GHz. For graphics processing, it utilizes the Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU.

These specifications suggest that the X9s is equipped with the Dimensity 9500s, achieving scores of 2,571 in single-core and 7,881 in multi-core tests. This aligns with MediaTek’s earlier announcement regarding the Dimensity 9500s, confirming its inclusion in the Find X9s. The only other device featuring this chipset is the Poco X8 Pro Max, which was launched last month.

Since the Find X9s is powered by the Dimensity 9500s, a slightly less powerful version of the Dimensity 9500, it is likely positioned below the existing Find X9 in terms of specifications.

In terms of additional features, the Find X9s boasts a 6.59-inch OLED display with ultra-thin 1.1mm bezels on all sides. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is equipped with a 7,025mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging, although it may not include wireless charging capabilities.

The X9s will feature a 32-megapixel front camera. On the rear, it will sport a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (either Samsung JN5 or Sony LYT-700). It will be available in configurations of 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB, with color options including orange, purple, and titanium.
