Lucknow, June 4: Om Prakash Rajbhar, the national president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, launched a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday.
Rajbhar questioned Yadav’s strategies on the social media platform X, stating, “No matter how many tricks you employ, the head of the village will remain the head. You need to make it clear to your SP goons that not only will you fail in the assembly elections, but you won’t even win the panchayat elections.”
He sarcastically noted that Akhilesh Yadav’s brother has left for London, suggesting that SP workers should carry his suitcase and bags to the airport. Rajbhar quipped, “You might find some ‘good numbers’ there. After that, go on social media and post that today I had the honor of carrying Bhaiya Ji’s (Akhilesh Yadav) bag.”
The minister further stated that Akhilesh Yadav is not even in a position to hold a press conference in an air-conditioned hall. He claimed that Yadav’s own associates are embroiled in scandals, and the police under Yogi Adityanath’s government are keeping a close watch on them. Rajbhar alleged that if Akhilesh were to hold a press conference, the media would start asking tough questions.
Rajbhar accused the SP of being “sly like a fox,” asserting that party members quickly play the victim card in cases involving individuals like Asad, Dinesh Yadav, and Mubeen. He mentioned the non-Yadav OBC and Dalit communities in Uttar Pradesh, claiming that these groups have made up their minds this time around.
He emphasized that slogans like “Ahir will beat you” or “Minorities will beat you” will not resonate from the panchayat to the assembly elections.
