Om Prakash Rajbhar Criticizes SP-Congress Alliance Dreams

Lucknow, September 3: Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar shared his views on various issues during a conversation on Wednesday. He commented on the potential alliance between the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress, stating that no matter whom they ally with, their dream of forming a government will remain a mere fantasy. He emphasized that the development model under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is being discussed across the state, highlighting ongoing projects in rail and expressway connectivity.

Rajbhar pointed out that this is not the first time the opposition has claimed it would form a government in the state. They have made similar claims in the past, including during the elections of 2017, 2022, and 2024. However, the results have consistently shown otherwise. He expressed confidence that CM Yogi will retain power, predicting a two-thirds majority for his government.

Regarding the potential SP-Congress alliance, Rajbhar noted that Congress, as a national party, holds a stronger position compared to the SP given the current state situation. He suggested that the number of seats Congress demands should be granted.

He also responded to a statement made by MP Avadhesh Prasad from Ayodhya, who claimed that the BJP would face elimination nationwide in the coming days. Rajbhar retorted that Prasad should evaluate his own position to avoid a similar fate in the next elections.

Additionally, he addressed accusations that officials in his department are not adhering to his directives. He stated that the officials are not responsive and have been neglecting their responsibilities. For instance, while 32 community halls are being constructed, only 10-12 have had their Detailed Project Reports (DPR) prepared.

Rajbhar questioned the actions of former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, noting that a project initially budgeted at 200 crores was inflated to 800 crores without completion. He raised concerns about the missing funds and alleged that such practices indicate corruption. He pointed out that many scandals occurred during Yadav’s administration, including riots and gang wars.

Furthermore, Rajbhar criticized Yadav for favoring only his community and betraying the 20% Muslim population that supported him. He argued that it is the duty of the Yadavs to offer the Chief Minister’s position to a Muslim leader, which has not happened. He claimed that Muslim leaders within both Congress and SP are subservient and lack the courage to demand representation.

On the appointment of the CEO for the Ram Temple, Rajbhar stated that it was conducted through proper channels, dismissing opposition criticism as typical.
