Beijing, October 12 (Daily Kiran) — Nubia is preparing to unveil its next-generation flagship, the Nubia Z80 Ultra, alongside the Red Magic 11 Pro series later this month. The upcoming smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and will focus on delivering a full-screen experience with its under-display camera technology.
Massive Battery in an Ultra-Slim Design
According to the latest leak from Weibo, the Nubia Z80 Ultra will pack a massive 7,200mAh battery, all while maintaining a slim 7.8mm body and a weight of around 225 grams. The device will also support 90W wired fast charging and wireless charging, ensuring both long battery life and fast recharging capabilities.
For comparison, the upcoming Red Magic 11 Pro series will feature an even larger 8,000mAh battery, making Nubia’s flagship lineup one of the most power-efficient in its class.
Display and Performance
The Z80 Ultra is rumored to sport a 144Hz flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, offering ultra-smooth visuals and an immersive viewing experience. It will run on Nebula AIOS, based on Android 16, and will feature up to 16GB of RAM for top-tier performance.
