Born on May 28, 1923, in the small village of Nimmakuru, Andhra Pradesh, NTR’s family was involved in agriculture. He faced considerable struggles in his childhood, balancing education with family responsibilities. While studying in Vijayawada, he even sold milk to support his family. After completing his education, he secured a government job, but his passion for acting led him to leave it within weeks and pursue a career in films.

NTR began his acting journey in 1949 with the film ‘Mana Desham.’ Initially, he played various roles, but mythological films soon brought him fame. He portrayed Lord Krishna 17 times throughout his career, in addition to roles as Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu.
