NPCIL Opens Applications for 337 Apprentice Positions, Deadline April 6

Gandhinagar, March 24: The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has announced a significant opportunity for young job seekers. The organization has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 337 various apprentice positions.

The application process has commenced in offline mode, and candidates must submit their applications by April 6. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to complete their registration forms before the deadline.

The 337 positions available include 227 for Trade Apprentices, 33 for Technician Apprentices, and 67 for Graduate Apprentices.

Among the Trade Apprentice roles, there are 78 for Fitters, 34 for Electricians, 24 for Electronics Mechanics, 24 for Welders, 22 for Instrument Mechanics, and 14 each for COPA/PASAA and Machinists. Additionally, there are 9 positions each for Turners, AC Mechanics, and Diesel Mechanics. For Technician Apprentices, there are 14 positions in Chemical, 8 in Civil, 6 in Mechanical, and 2 each in Electronics and Instrumentation, with 1 in Electrical.

The Graduate Apprenticeship roles consist of 16 in Chemical, 8 each in Civil and Mechanical, 6 in Electrical, 5 in Electronics, and 4 each in Instrumentation and B.Sc. (Physics). There are also 2 positions for B.Sc. (Chemistry), and 5 each in Human Resources and Contract & Material Management, along with 4 in Finance and Accounts.

Candidates must possess a diploma in the relevant trade or stream from a recognized institution or university, or hold a degree in BA, B.Sc., or B.Com. Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.

The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age varies from 24 to 26 years depending on the position, calculated as of April 6. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection will be based on merit, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend ranging from ₹10,560 to ₹12,300 based on their positions.

To apply, candidates must first register on the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) or NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) portal. Then, they should visit the official NPCIL website. After navigating to the homepage, they can click on the official notification link for the relevant positions.
