November 5 Panchang: Avoid Travel in South Direction, Abhijit Muhurat from 11:48 AM to 12:32 PM
On November 5, avoid south travel and note auspicious timings like Abhijit Muhurat for important tasks.

New Delhi, November 4 (Daily Kiran) : The Panchang holds significant importance in Hindu culture. Before embarking on any auspicious activity, such as travel, investment, or rituals, it is customary to consult the Panchang. This ancient method of timekeeping is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.
On November 5, the Ekadashi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha will commence at 11:03 AM and continue until 10:35 AM the following day. Following this, the Dwadashi Tithi will begin and last until 10:30 AM on November 6. Sunrise will occur at 6:38 AM, with sunset at 5:42 PM. The moon will rise at 2:49 AM and set the next day at 3:11 PM.
According to the Panchang, the Sun will be positioned in the Swati Nakshatra on this day. Astrologically, when the Sun enters or resides in this Nakshatra, it is believed to bring about significant and profound effects. The presiding deity of Swati Nakshatra is Vayu Dev (the Wind God), and its ruler is Rahu. The Sun’s presence here encourages individuals to break free from old constraints and act independently.
The day will begin with Indra Yoga until 6:26 AM, followed by the initiation of Vaidhriti Yoga, which is considered the 27th daily yoga. This yoga is generally viewed as inauspicious or challenging. Those born under this yoga may feel mentally agitated or uncomfortable, making decision-making difficult. While they tend to be enthusiastic and hardworking, they may also intrude into others’ affairs, leading to unnecessary troubles.
The Abhijit Muhurat, regarded as the most auspicious and fruitful time of the day, will take place from 11:48 AM to 12:32 PM. This period, lasting approximately 48 minutes, is believed to eradicate all inauspicious effects or flaws associated with any undertaken tasks. The Abhijit Muhurat occurs when the Sun is directly overhead.
Additionally, Amritkal will be observed from 8:35 PM to 10:12 PM on Wednesday. This time is considered extremely auspicious, filled with positive energy and is believed to yield excellent results, making it ideal for new ventures, investments, rituals, and important travels.
Rahu Kaal will take place from 1:33 PM to 2:56 PM, a period deemed inauspicious for starting new or auspicious activities. This time is calculated by dividing the duration between sunrise and sunset into eight equal parts, usually lasting around 90 minutes. Individuals are advised against initiating new projects during this time but can continue ongoing work.
Yamgand Kaal will run from 6:38 AM to 8:01 AM, associated with Yama, the god of death. It is considered an inauspicious time for starting new ventures, and individuals should avoid travel and financial transactions during this period.
Gulika Kaal, referred to as “poisonous time,” will occur from 9:24 AM to 10:47 AM. It is associated with negative outcomes, and individuals are advised against starting new tasks during this period, although ongoing activities may continue. Activities like depositing money in banks, donating, or investing are viewed favorably during this time.
On this day, the Sun will be in Libra. Astrologically, when the Sun enters Libra, it is considered to be in a weakened state. The Sun represents fire, while Libra is associated with air and Venus, which contrasts with the Sun’s nature. This transition may lead to a decrease in self-confidence and energy, making decision-making more challenging.
The Moon will occupy Virgo, where it is believed to exert more intellectual and logical influence over emotions. Individuals may find themselves analyzing situations more deeply and relying on logic rather than feelings.
Notably, the direction of travel should be avoided in the south due to the presence of “Disha Shool,” which is considered inauspicious on this day.
