Nothing to Launch Phone (4) in 2026, Phone (4a) Series Confirmed

Nothing CEO Carl Pei has officially confirmed that the company will not release a flagship smartphone in 2026. This announcement means there will be no Nothing Phone (4) this year, and the existing Nothing Phone (3) will remain the brand’s flagship throughout 2026.

Nothing has followed a cautious approach with its flagship launches. For instance, the Phone (3) was launched two years after the Phone (2). The company plans to follow a similar strategy with its next flagship device.

However, this does not imply that Nothing will not launch any new phones in 2026. Carl Pei revealed that the company will introduce the Phone (4a) series, which will bring improvements in materials, design, display, camera, and other areas.

The video also highlighted software updates, particularly about Essential Space. According to Pei, users will be able to create their own widgets using this feature. Essential Space is currently in alpha testing and is expected to move to the beta stage soon.

Details about the Nothing Phone (4a) Series

The Phone (4a) series launch is confirmed and may happen soon. Both the Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro have appeared on regulatory platforms, revealing some key details.

The standard Phone (4a) model is listed on IMEI databases and the UAE’s TRDA certification with the model number A069.

The Phone (4a) Pro has been spotted in the EU’s EPREL database, confirming its battery and charging specs. It will feature a 5,080mAh battery with 50W fast charging. Additionally, it has been certified by India’s BIS under the model number A069P.

While hardware specifications for the Phone (4a) series remain limited, reports suggest a possible launch in the first quarter of 2026, before March. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
