iQOO Z11 Unveiled: Massive 9020mAh Battery, 165Hz Display, and 90W Fast Charging

Beijing, March 27: The iQOO Z11 has officially launched in China, catering to users seeking extended battery life, high refresh rate visuals, and reliable gaming performance. This new device features a larger battery, an upgraded chipset, and enhanced display capabilities.

The standout feature is its impressive battery capacity. The phone is equipped with a 9,020mAh “Blue Ocean” battery, the largest ever in an iQOO device. It utilizes a fourth-generation silicon anode and semi-solid-state battery cells, allowing it to maintain a slim profile of just 8.25mm while enhancing performance in colder conditions. The company claims users can expect over 10 hours of mixed usage with more than 50% charge remaining. Additionally, the device supports 90W wired charging and offers reverse charging for other gadgets.

Powering the Z11 is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, built on a second-generation 4nm process. It features Cortex-A725 cores in an all-large-core architecture aimed at boosting efficiency. iQOO has incorporated its Monster Over-Core Engine, which includes a Prophet Scheduler for managing background tasks and a Lightning Accelerator to stabilize frame rates. The phone also boasts a 7K Ice Dome VC liquid cooling system, with a benchmark score exceeding 2.62 million.

On the display front, the device sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution of 2800×1260 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. It can achieve peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, along with 2160Hz PWM dimming and DC-like dimming. This panel is designed to minimize latency and enhance touch response during gaming sessions.

For photography, the Z11 features a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2MP depth sensor, supporting 4K video recording. The front camera is 16MP, and software enhancements include portrait modes, film filters, and a watermark system for time and location logging.

The device operates on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, NavIC, and stereo speakers. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and infrared support.

Design-wise, the Z11 showcases a rounded “floating porthole” camera module and is available in Floating Light, Sky White, and Midnight Black. It holds IP68 and IP69 ratings and has successfully passed multiple durability tests.

Pricing & Availability

Pricing starts at 2299 yuan for the 8GB + 256GB model and goes up to 3399 yuan for the 16GB + 512GB variant. The device is currently available in China, with discounts of up to 300 yuan.
