Mumbai, April 7: Nothing has discreetly increased the price of the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite in India. A report from 91Mobiles reveals that the price has risen by Rs 3,000 across all variants.
The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage now retails for Rs 24,999, up from Rs 21,999. Similarly, the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant has jumped from Rs 23,999 to Rs 26,999.
According to a notice sent to retailers, this price adjustment took effect on April 6. However, it will only apply to new stock purchased from that date onward. Existing inventory will still be sold at the original launch price.
This price shift is not occurring in a vacuum. Rising component costs, particularly for memory, have led brands to reassess pricing strategies even after product launches. Instead of waiting for a new product cycle, companies are increasingly making mid-cycle adjustments to safeguard their profit margins.
This trend is evident across various brands. For instance, Redmi and Realme have modified prices on select models, while Samsung has introduced newer A-series devices at significantly higher starting prices compared to previous generations.

The Phone (3a) Lite features a 6.77-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3000 nits. It is protected by Panda Glass.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, the device boasts a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP main camera using a 1/1.57 inch Samsung sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera is a 16MP unit capable of recording up to 1080p at 60fps.
For now, buyers may still find the Phone (3a) Lite at its original launch price if they can locate older stock. Once that inventory is depleted, the new higher prices are expected to become standard across all sales channels.
