No Mercy for Those Involved in Ram Mandir Donation Scandal: BJP MP Naresh Bansal

New Delhi, July 1: BJP MP Naresh Bansal stated that there will be no leniency for those involved in the alleged irregularities concerning donations for the Ram Mandir. He emphasized that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is conducting a swift and impartial inquiry, with full cooperation from the Ram Mandir Trust. Anyone found guilty of embezzlement or theft related to the donations will face consequences.

In light of the ongoing controversy surrounding donations to the Ram Mandir, Bansal commented on the recent transfer of RMO Arjun Dev, calling it a purely administrative decision. He noted that transfers of government officials are a standard procedure and should not be interpreted as having any special significance. The temple premises are equipped with CCTV cameras, and the assessment of officials’ performance will be based on the SIT’s investigation report.

Supporting the statement made by Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Alok Kumar regarding the donation issue, Bansal reiterated that the SIT is conducting its investigation with fairness and urgency. It has been nearly 20 days since the formation of the investigation team, and eight individuals have already been sent to jail. The investigation will continue at this pace, and anyone involved in the donation scandal will not escape justice. The truth will ultimately prevail.

Responding to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks about an impending economic tsunami, Bansal criticized him for consistently predicting disasters. He argued that Gandhi lacks a genuine understanding of the country’s ground realities, as he spends much of his time abroad.

Regarding AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s comments on the Ram Mandir donation issue, Bansal stated that if Muslims express their faith in the Ram Janmabhoomi, Lord Ram, and the Ram Mandir, it would be beneficial for both the nation and the Muslim community.

On BJP leader Nitin Naveen’s statement labeling Rahul Gandhi a part-time leader while describing every BJP worker as a full-time leader, Bansal agreed. He emphasized that BJP leadership and its workers maintain constant contact with the public throughout the year, working to address people’s issues and ensuring that government welfare schemes reach the last individual.

Commenting on the political developments in Maharashtra, particularly Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Operation Tiger and the inclusion of MLC Sachin Ahir from the Uddhav Thackeray faction into Shinde’s camp, Bansal noted that the results of Operation Tiger are becoming evident. He suggested that Uddhav Thackeray should seriously reconsider his political strategy and future in light of these events.
