Kolkata, April 22: Voting for the first phase of the West Bengal Assembly elections will take place on Thursday across 152 constituencies. Nitin Naveen, the national president of the BJP, asserted that the end of Mamata Banerjee’s chaotic government begins today.
In an interview in Naihati, Naveen stated that the people of West Bengal will vote for their first liberation. They are determined to remove the TMC government. He criticized the TMC for its history of extortion and harassment, claiming they have disrespected the very slogan of ‘Maa, Mati, Manush’ that brought them to power. He emphasized that it is time to uproot this government, starting with the voting on Thursday.
Naveen described TMC members as anarchists who do not believe in the Constitution or its prescribed processes. He accused them of prioritizing their power over the rule of law, which has led to widespread criticism.
Responding to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s remarks about Prime Minister Modi, Naveen condemned the statements, asserting that whenever Congress has made derogatory comments, the public has responded, and they will do so again this time.
He noted that every time Congress has insulted Modi, the people of the country have rewarded him with victory. The words used by Rahul Gandhi and the Congress leadership will now be answered by the voters of Bengal through their ballots.
Naveen also shared on social media that he performed rituals at the ‘Bardo Maa Kali Mandir’ in Naihati, offering his respects and praying for peace, prosperity, and public welfare in the country. He described this sacred site as a powerful symbol of West Bengal’s rich faith, tradition, and cultural consciousness, where devotion to Maa Kali is profoundly evident. He hopes her blessings will bring happiness, peace, and positive energy into everyone’s lives.
