New Delhi, August 3: The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is inviting applications for various technician positions, totaling 237 vacancies. These positions are open to regular and contract employees working in operations and maintenance departments of Indian Railways or government-owned metro railways and RRTS. The last date to apply is set for August 5.
The vacancies include 18 Technician (Civil/Track-Fitter), 16 Technician (Civil/Track-Mechanic), 8 Technician (Civil/Track-Draftsman), 7 Technician (Civil/Track-Surveyor), 8 Technician (Civil/Track-Electrician), 6 Technician (Civil/Track-Welder), 2 Technician (Civil-Plumber), 2 Technician (Civil-Painter), 77 Technician (Electrical), 63 Technician (Signaling and Telecom), 10 Technician (Rolling Stock-Fitter), 2 Technician (Rolling Stock-Machinist), 2 Technician (Rolling Stock-Welder), 13 Technician (Rolling Stock-Electrician), and 3 Technician (Rolling Stock-RAC) positions.
The online application process began on July 7 and will close on August 5. Interested candidates can submit their application forms on the official NHSRCL website before the deadline.
Applicants must have completed matriculation/SSLC along with ITI in relevant trades such as fitter, mechanic, draftsman, surveyor, electrician, welder, plumber, painter, electrical, electronics, computer operator, machinist, turner, or equivalent. Alternatively, candidates should possess a three-year diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, or Information Technology from a recognized institution.
Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of experience in relevant fields after obtaining qualifications from Indian Railways or government-operated railways, metro railways, or RRTS systems. Note that candidates with higher qualifications, such as BE/BTech, without an ITI/diploma are not eligible for technician positions.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 35 years, calculated as of June 30. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on a computer-based test (CBT), document verification, and medical examination. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,000 to ₹1,10,000.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹400 plus applicable bank charges for general/OBC/EWS candidates. SC/ST/women candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
