IDF Claims Elimination of Three Militants Planning Attacks in Gaza

New Delhi, August 2: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported the elimination of three militants in the Gaza Strip. According to the IDF, these individuals were allegedly planning attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians.

The IDF announced on the social media platform ‘X’ that they had neutralized three individuals who were plotting assaults on their forces in Gaza.

On Saturday, an operation was conducted in the Gaza City area, resulting in the deaths of Ala Imad Khamis Taramsi from the ‘Army of Islam’ and Hasan Ibrahim Shahada Kahman from the PIJ organization.

Additionally, the IDF stated that in a separate operation last week in northern Gaza, they had also eliminated Ahmed Hadari, a fighter linked to Hamas’s Jabalia Battalion.

The IDF accused all three of conspiring to attack IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians, leading to their targeting to neutralize the threat.

The IDF confirmed that their forces, under the Southern Command, are deployed in the area as per agreements and will continue operations to eliminate any threats.

Previously, on Thursday, former U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that a historic agreement had been reached regarding the complete disarmament of Hamas and a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.

According to Trump, the agreement will be implemented in phases within 14 days of formal approval from all parties involved. Hamas has also expressed agreement to the deal, although it has stipulated certain conditions that Israel must fulfill.

Under the agreement, Hamas will surrender all its weapons to an international stabilization force in a phased manner. This force, consisting of approximately 5,000 members, will be monitored by an American general.

Trump emphasized that this step is essential for achieving lasting peace and security in the Palestinian territories. This announcement comes months after a ceasefire agreement mediated by the U.S. between Hamas and Israel.
