Tel Aviv, February 26: Upon his arrival in Israel, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a warm welcome from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara Netanyahu. As Modi disembarked from the plane, Netanyahu opened his arms to greet his “friend” Modi. This grand reception was not only personal but also made waves on social media.

Netanyahu responded to a post by Modi with a unique flair. As soon as Modi landed in Israel, he shared a post on the social media platform X, mentioning the elaborate welcome he received and providing details about the events scheduled during his visit. In response, Netanyahu expressed his enthusiasm by writing, “You are welcome.”

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi is on a two-day official visit to Israel. At Ben Gurion Airport, Netanyahu and his wife warmly welcomed him. This marks Modi’s second visit to Israel in nine years; his first was in July 2017.

During his stay on Wednesday and Thursday, Modi and Netanyahu will set new goals for their strategic partnership and advance their shared vision for a prosperous future.

According to Modi’s schedule, he will also address the Knesset, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to do so. He is set to participate in an Indian community event and take part in a technology exhibition.

Members of the Indian diaspora in Israel expressed their joy regarding Modi’s visit, calling the day a special occasion and a moment of pride for Indians worldwide.

Just a day earlier, Modi had stated that he looked forward to his meetings with Netanyahu, aiming to strengthen cooperation in various fields and exchange views on regional and global issues.
