Mumbai, May 28: Actor Freddy Daruwala is currently in the spotlight for his role in the second season of the web series ‘Inspector Avinash.’ While Randeep Hooda plays the lead, Freddy’s character has also received significant acclaim. During a recent promotional event, director Neeraj Pathak praised Freddy, highlighting his dedication and sincerity in his work.
In a conversation with the media, Neeraj shared several interesting insights about Freddy Daruwala. He stated, “Freddy’s greatest asset is his honesty. He is a very simple and straightforward person. Many artists in the film industry become so serious about their experiences and methods that they fail to understand the character from the director’s perspective. Freddy is not one of those artists. He fully comprehends the director’s vision and strives to adapt himself to the character accordingly.”
Neeraj further explained, “I was looking for an actor who is attractive, impactful on screen, and can capture the audience’s attention through his performance. In the show, Freddy portrays a young Home Minister. He prioritized the story and character over monetary gains.”
The director added, “Freddy trusted my vision and embraced the role with passion. This is why a strong bond has developed between us. I often tell Freddy that he has the potential to make a long-lasting impact in the industry and can become a big name in the future.”
Discussing Freddy’s character in detail, Neeraj noted, “He has portrayed this role in a very captivating manner. His character is someone trying to understand responsibilities. However, as the story progresses, he begins to grasp the realities of politics. He realizes that to maintain his position in politics, he sometimes has to adapt to circumstances.”
Neeraj concluded, “Freddy has seamlessly depicted this transformation through his acting. He infused maturity and seriousness into the character, which the story required. His charm is such that no one can remain unaffected by it.”
