Pawan Singh Raises Alarm Over Flood Crisis in Bhojpur, Appeals to CM Samrat Chaudhary

Patna, September 3: Bhojpuri cinema’s power star, Pawan Singh, is deeply concerned about the plight of flood-affected individuals in his home region of Bhojpur. He recently shared images on Instagram showcasing the devastation caused by the floods, highlighting the struggles faced by the local community. Singh expressed his solidarity with the affected families during this challenging time.

In his Instagram post, he wrote, “Seeing the pictures from various flood-affected areas like Piparpati and Ara fills my heart with sorrow. Water has entered many homes, some families are trapped inside their own houses, and there is a looming fear of losing shelter and land due to flooding and erosion. Families who have built their homes and lives over years are now facing a crisis right before their eyes. This is not just a time for concern but a time to stand up and help. I stand with all my flood-affected brothers and sisters from Piparpati and Ara. I will soon come to see your struggles up close and do everything possible to assist you.”

He further urged Bihar’s Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, to expedite relief and rescue operations in the flood-hit areas. Singh emphasized the need for essential supplies such as food, drinking water, medicines, and other relief materials to reach affected families. He also called for adequate boats and resources to safely transport people to secure locations, especially in areas at risk of erosion, to prevent families from losing their homes and land. “No family should feel alone during this difficult time. Your pain is our pain, and your concerns are our concerns,” he added.

In closing, Pawan Singh prayed for the safety of every family affected by the floods and erosion, hoping that no home would lose its light and that peace would soon return to their lives. “We will serve, we will support, and we will raise our voices. Yours truly, Pawan.”

It is noteworthy that the rising water levels of the Ganges have visibly impacted many areas in Bhojpur district. Floodwaters have reached the roads in several locations, making it difficult for residents to travel from one place to another. The encroachment of floodwaters around some villages has further exacerbated the challenges faced by the community. Daily necessities have become a struggle for many, with reports of damaged roads and bridges due to the flooding.
