NDA MPs Criticize Opposition for Disrupting Parliamentary Discussions on Education and Paper Leak Issues

New Delhi, July 28: Political rhetoric has intensified during the monsoon session of Parliament, focusing on education and examination system issues. NDA MPs have accused the opposition of disrupting the proceedings. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over alleged paper leak incidents in Punjab.

BJP MP Arun Govil stated that the opposition had initially expressed readiness for discussion but has repeatedly backtracked. He emphasized the importance of this legislation for students and youth, calling for serious debate.

Govil asserted that the central government has taken significant steps in the interest of youth. He urged young people to stay away from politics and trust the government to address their issues, highlighting the government’s positive outlook.

In contrast, Swati Maliwal alleged that there have been six reported paper leaks in Punjab over the past five years, accompanied by widespread cheating. She noted that no accountability has been established in these cases. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has denied these incidents, while the reality appears to be different.

Maliwal also criticized AAP’s national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, for his silence on Punjab’s issues. She accused those advocating for accountability in education of remaining silent on the alleged paper leak cases. Furthermore, she claimed that Kejriwal attempted to create a narrative around education issues through his associates, yet those same individuals are silent regarding the Punjab cases.

On this matter, BJP MP Shashank Mani Tripathi accused the opposition of wasting parliamentary time. He stated that if the opposition has any issues, they should be raised through debate in the house. According to him, meaningful discussions on topics related to students’ futures and the education system are essential.

BJP MP Shantanu Thakur also praised the initiatives taken under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, asserting that decisions made in the national interest are crucial. He stated that those who understand the importance of national efforts should naturally support such initiatives.
