
New Delhi, May 18: A joint anti-terrorism mock drill was conducted at IGI Airport in the national capital on Monday. This exercise involved multiple intelligence and security agencies.
The primary aim of such drills is to prepare for any crisis situation. It also focuses on ensuring a safe environment for passengers in case of any unforeseen incidents. The mock drill was organized under the supervision of DIG, CSO, and ASG to outline these scenarios effectively.
According to reports, agencies like Delhi Police, CISF, NSG, BDS, DFS, DILL, BCAS, and AAI participated in the exercise. All agencies worked together to ensure the drill was completed successfully.
No lapses were observed during the exercise, which was conducted according to the established framework. After its conclusion, the drill was deemed successful.
This exercise also aimed to evaluate the current effectiveness of these agencies and their readiness to handle any crisis. The mock drill was organized to test these aspects thoroughly.
