Mastermind Behind Fake Threats Arrested in Mysuru

Mysuru, March 30: In a significant breakthrough, the Delhi Police have arrested a 47-year-old man in connection with a series of fake threat messages that have caused panic across the country. The suspect, identified as Srinivas Louis, allegedly sent over 1,000 threatening messages.

He was apprehended at his rented home in Mysuru, Karnataka, following a collaborative operation between the Delhi Police and local authorities. Intensive questioning is currently underway to uncover the motives behind these fake threats.

In recent weeks, numerous prominent institutions, courts, and government offices across India received continuous threatening messages, alarming security agencies. These messages included serious threats of bomb attacks, targeting locations such as the Delhi High Court, the Delhi Assembly, and various educational institutions. Each time a message was received, security measures were heightened, investigations were launched, and a climate of fear ensued among the public.

However, investigations later revealed that all these threats were hoaxes. Nonetheless, the police and security agencies had to expend considerable resources and time responding to these incidents. This prompted a serious approach to the case and initiated a search for the perpetrator.

According to police, Srinivas Louis was tracked down through technical surveillance and digital tracking. His activities had been under observation for some time before he was finally arrested. The police are now focused on interrogating him and proceeding with further actions.

Officials are working to determine why the suspect sent these fake threats on such a large scale. Investigations are ongoing to ascertain whether there was a personal motive or another underlying reason for his actions.
