Manoj Jha Speaks Out Against CEC in Patna, Promises Ongoing Protests for Democracy

Patna, October 8 (Daily Kiran) : Nationalist Congress Party (RJD) Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha has voiced strong opposition to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar during a protest in Patna. He emphasized that this demonstration will continue, as the current period poses significant challenges for democracy.

Speaking to a news agency, Jha asserted, “This protest will be ongoing because democracy is facing a tough time. Under the leadership of Gyanesh Kumar, no election will be fair. This has been made clear based on evidence. The Supreme Court has also addressed the issue of ‘Form-6,’ leaving them with no room to hide.”

In response to comments made by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding the opposition, Jha remarked, “If Shivraj Singh Chouhan hasn’t read the investigative report, he should. This was not a fabrication by the opposition; the media and other institutions worked hard to report it. Their intelligence has not been stolen.”

Jha further criticized Chouhan’s statements, saying, “I have seen you as a Chief Minister and now as a Union Minister, but this transformation is an extraordinary example we rarely witness.”

Regarding Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent lunch gathering for opposition MPs, Jha noted that it will be interesting to see what this unity will yield in the coming days.

When questioned about the absence of AITC and Samajwadi Party MPs at the previous lunch, Jha stated, “It is good that the BJP is planting these stories. It will ultimately be detrimental to them.” He clarified that AITC MPs were present, having been in Delhi previously, and added, “Moreover, this event was arranged at the last minute.”
