New Delhi, March 15: BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok has strongly reacted to recent comments made by Congress leader and former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar. Alok stated that Aiyar has lost his sense of judgment, a sentiment that even the Congress party acknowledges.
Ajay Alok further asserted that if Mani Shankar Aiyar advocates for dialogue with Pakistan, he should renounce his Indian citizenship and relocate to Pakistan.
Aiyar had recently made statements regarding India-Pakistan relations, challenging the Indian system. He suggested that if there is courage, one should travel to Islamabad and engage in discussions with Pakistan for months.
On another note, the Election Commission is set to announce the schedule for assembly elections in five states this Sunday at 4 PM. Ajay Alok welcomed this announcement, calling it the biggest celebration of democracy. He also criticized opposition parties, including Trinamool Congress, Congress, and DMK.
Alok emphasized that the announcement of election dates by the Election Commission is a crucial aspect of the democratic process and deserves to be celebrated. He remarked, “We welcome this announcement from the Election Commission. There is no greater celebration in democracy than elections, and today the Commission is set to make this announcement.”
He also claimed that the BJP would form governments in most states in the upcoming elections. Alok targeted opposition parties that questioned the election dates, stating, “These people have completely lost their mental balance. Who are you referring to, Trinamool Congress, Congress, or DMK? In a democracy, the announcement of elections should be welcomed first and foremost.”
