Mamata Banerjees Trust Issues with West Bengal Voters, Claims Bihar Minister

Patna, April 1: Bihar’s Health Minister, Mangal Pandey, launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday. He stated that the Chief Minister has lost faith in the people of the state and their mandate.

Speaking to the media, Pandey emphasized that the Election Commission is continuously working to ensure fair and transparent voting in West Bengal. However, he accused Banerjee and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of opposing these constitutional efforts. He alleged that previous elections were marred by the misuse of administration and police forces, voter intimidation, and granting voting rights to illegal immigrants. The BJP leader insisted that due to the Election Commission’s vigilance, such tactics will not succeed this time.

Pandey remarked that when Banerjee’s support is dwindling and the public is against her, she resorts to attacking the systems in place. He noted that the Election Commission has consistently conducted fair elections, including recent ones in Bihar. Despite this, he claimed that Banerjee has developed a habit of making baseless accusations against the Commission.

He further stated that the people of West Bengal are observing the Commission’s impartiality. Therefore, Banerjee should focus on engaging with the public rather than making unfounded claims. In a democracy, the public is the ultimate authority, and they cast their votes. However, it seems she has lost faith in the voters and relies on manipulation instead.

Additionally, regarding the shortage of petroleum products, Minister Pandey assured that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is closely monitoring the global situation. Ensuring that the Indian populace faces no hardships is a priority for PM Modi and his government. He reassured the public that there is no shortage of essential goods in the country.
