Patna, March 28: Bihar Minister Mangal Pandey has targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee ahead of the assembly elections. He stated that no matter what she does, the public will remove her from power.
During a media interaction in Patna, Pandey responded to Banerjee’s comments regarding lockdowns. He claimed that she is devising various strategies to remain in power, but none will succeed in this election. He asserted that the public will show her the way out on May 4.
Amid ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, Pandey commented on Prime Minister Modi’s recent meeting with several state chief ministers. He noted that the Prime Minister has been in touch with all chief ministers to provide them with updated information. Under Modi’s leadership, the country stands strong, with ample supplies of gas and oil available.
Responding to remarks made by Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, Pandey quipped that Yadav is likely feeling the sting of having been removed from the Chief Minister’s chair for quite some time. He suggested that Yadav must be curious about when he might participate in such meetings again, as the people of Uttar Pradesh have ousted him from power.
Pandey praised the government for its reduction of excise duty on petrol and diesel. He emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, the central government prioritized the interests of 1.4 billion Indians by cutting taxes on fuel for domestic use. This decision aims to provide relief directly to citizens and ease their cost of living. It reflects the Prime Minister’s strong, visionary, and public-oriented leadership. Regardless of global circumstances, the government’s goal remains the welfare of citizens and enhancing the ease of living.
