Mamata Banerjees Ground Slipping in West Bengal, Claims Jharkhand BJP President

Ranchi, March 29: Political tensions are escalating following West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement, “If you target Bengal, I will target Delhi.” Jharkhand BJP President Aditya Sahu criticized the Mamata government, asserting that the BJP will form the next government in the state.

In an interview, Sahu questioned Banerjee’s intentions behind her threatening remarks. He stated, “What does Mamata Banerjee want to convey with such threats? With assembly elections approaching, she is making these statements as she sees her ground slipping away.”

Sahu emphasized that the Mamata government has failed to deliver any significant work for the people. “Development has come to a standstill. The people of Bengal are witnessing how Prime Minister Narendra Modi works for the poor. He is the first Prime Minister since independence to knock on every door, delivering various welfare schemes,” he remarked.

He further accused the state government of mismanaging central schemes, saying, “Bengal is a state where central initiatives are often distorted. Even if they are implemented, their names are altered. Mamata Banerjee has done nothing for Bengal, and as she realizes that change is on the horizon, she resorts to such language. She knows very well that the public is going to reject her.”

Regarding Delhi, Sahu asserted, “In Delhi, the public has overwhelmingly supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP, giving them a full majority. Therefore, such threats will not intimidate Modi or the BJP.”
