Mamata Banerjees Frustration Grows as Elections Approach, Says BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra

New Delhi, March 21: BJP MP Manan Kumar Mishra has sharply criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat over their recent statements. Mishra took aim at Banerjee’s claim of an ‘undeclared emergency’ and ‘presidential rule-like conditions’ in West Bengal.

As elections draw near, Mishra noted that Banerjee’s frustration is escalating. He believes she has sensed the changing mood of the voters. He asserted that the people of West Bengal are determined to oust the Trinamool Congress (TMC) this time, prompting the Chief Minister to make such remarks.

Mishra stated that Banerjee has awakened too late, only recalling public issues and various community concerns during election season. He accused her of obstructing the implementation of central government welfare schemes and focusing on issues that do not serve the public interest. According to him, the people of West Bengal are now fully aware and will not grant the TMC another chance.

Responding to Mohan Bhagwat’s comments regarding India’s potential role in the ongoing conflict between Israel, the U.S., and Iran, Mishra emphasized that India’s involvement could indeed be significant. He highlighted that India’s foreign policy has remained balanced and neutral, maintaining good relations with all three nations. Thus, India could play a crucial role in de-escalating tensions. He added that this conflict is a struggle for dominance, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s intervention could lead to a resolution.

Additionally, Mishra expressed support for the ABVP’s demand to remove Muhammad Ali Jinnah from the syllabus of Jammu University’s Political Science course. He stated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India, and including a figure who played a role in the country’s partition in the syllabus is inappropriate. He believes the ABVP’s demand is justified and should be acted upon immediately to convey the right message to students.
